Problem 8 seemed to be quite difficult for some reason.
The first step is to extract average values for each square on
the Macbeth chart image. Next you want to import the reference
data from `cchecker.xls`

. I saved the values obtained in MATLAB data files.

The power law fit is *g* = *A* *Y*^{b}
where *g* is the gray level and *Y* the reference luminance.

My resulting analysis for the Macbeth chart image I acquired during class showed that data did not fit a power law.
