Accessing the Engineering Terminal Server

Log Into the Virtual Private Network

1. Login at http://go.udayton.edu/vpn with your LDAP username and password. NOTE: This link works only from off-campus. 
2. Leave this browser window open. Then resume your usual remote access method.

NOTE: For your convenience, this website is also linked through http://porches.udayton.edu.  You'll find "Remote Desktop/VPN" in the "Campus Resource" folder of links on the Porches Front Porch tab. 

Run Remote Desktop Connection

1. Open the Accessories folder in your Start Menu and run the Remote Desktop Connection program. You will be presented with the following screen:

   

   Use the URL rds.engr.udayton.edu

2. You will then be presented with a login dialog box:

   

   Use your Engineering username and password. Prefex your username with the domain identification ENGR\ as shown above.

3. You should now be running on the engineering terminal server.
