EOP513 Fourier Optics Assignment 8
- Use Matlab to do problems 6-3, 6-4, and 6-5 from the textbook.
- Do problem 6-9 from the textbook.
- Do problems 6-10, 6-11, and 6-12 from the textbook.
- Show the point spread function (images) for two waves of
the following astigmatism aberrations:
- W1(x, y) = x2
- W2(x, y) = y2
- W3(x, y) = x2 - y2
- W4(x, y) = 2 x y
- Show the point spread function (images) for two waves of
the following coma aberrations. Add tilt to center the spread function
- W1(x, y) = r2y
- W2(x, y) = r4y
where r2 = x2 + y2
- Show the point spread function (images) for one-half wave of
the following aberrations.
- W1(r) = 2r2 - 1 (focal shift)
- W2(r) = 6r4-6r2+1
(fourth-order Zernike spherical aberration)
